Too bad there's not already a JNDI service provider that talks JDBC.
 
We intended the CP being committed by Tom to be a generic JNDI provider, but at this point, there may be a few LDAP-isms that we need to root out before we declare it as such.  This is something we want to address.

Mike and I have been talking along with some other companies and It seems to me that it would be best if we would have 2 core context providers, a JNDI and a JDBC (for SQL). In the later case it seems that we would just use SQLQuerys and not use any of the filters, helper functions etc that the framework may provide.
