Re: [henshin-dev] Mapping Rules and Units/Invocations

Hi Christoph,

parameters will be supported by the graphical editor in the next release, which we hope to be able to roll out in 2-3 weeks.

The nightly build (available from a separate update site) supports already parameters, but there are known bugs which we need to fix first. Also note that the new version will come with a new API for the interpreter.

Cheers,
Christian

Dear all,

Using the graphical Henshin Editor I can create Rules as well as Units.
However I do not know how to define Parameters of Units and most important how to map Invocations in the Units with Rules and how to hand over parameters.
In the emf henshin model (Tree Editor) there are elements to define parameters, which are also present in the example transformation from statemachines to java.
However I do not now how to define them in the Graphical Editor.
Is there a more complex tutorial available that describes how to combine Units with Rules?
The statemachine example does not explain how to get to this model using the graphical editor.

Maybe someone of you can give me some hints on using the graphical editor.

Thanks,
Chris
