Yes, that's the ideal case. Except that at some point, there won't be any trivial things to change in SWTBot any more ;)
Note that it's only a presentation and that I really want to merge something at some point. What matters here is to show the workflow, not to fix a bug.
There is no dummy project, but that is an interesting idea.

you can use the sample project we used for many Git trainings we held on eclipsecons:

we use to forcefully reset it before the next training to start from a clean state
