[gmf-dev] GMF Build Status

Hi Team,

Thanks to Nick's help, we just ran
http://emft.eclipse.org/modeling/gmf/downloads/#I200804011454 that makes
use of the latest Orbit, Platform and GEF builds. I did not use the latest
of the other dependencies (I think).

There are no build failures, so the issues I am aware of have been fixed:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=224736 new platform broke the
GMF build (fixed GMF Friday)
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=214900 new GEF broke the GMF
build (fixed GEF Monday).

Next step is to download this build and test it.

Issues:

1) No JUnit tests are in the GMF build right now.
2) The Build Dependencies list in the build output above is broken
3) We need to get the stuff on emft.eclipse.org to download.eclipse.org
4) We need to migrate the "old" stuff on download.eclipse.org to the new
modeling format (like emft.eclipse.org).
5) We need to test the update-site and Ganymatic

Anything else?

Cheers...
Anthony

Sure, no problem. Wasn't sure if you'd prefer to sniff test a build
this way vs. actually publishing one. Here's the respun-as-an-I-build
version:

http://www.eclipse.org/gef/downloads/?hlbuild=I200803312310&sortBy=date&project=#I200803312310

FYI, using the S-build that preceeded this one (same contents,
different name), I've got two GMF candidates too, one on each build
server.

http://emf.torolab.ibm.com/modeling/gmf/downloads/?sortBy=date#latest
http://emft.eclipse.org/modeling/gmf/downloads/?sortBy=date#latest

Everything looks good except the fact that the JUnits aren't set up to
run... yet.

Max, any progress on that? You can copy the code from the releng
template or from the gef.releng project. Ping me if you need any
assistance setting it up.

Cheers,

Nick
