shall we go for a proposal for such a new dedicated sub-component in EMFT then ?

Jacques, I can give you a hand to write a proposal if needed (even if not being lead).

I already did for EMFT Search and another one so it shouldn't take long to write and post it along in an RFE.

Then, GMF guys could be able to rely on this framework in near future. Is the existing EcoreTools EMF TabbedProperties plugin should be the initial contribution (eg: org.eclipse.emf.ecoretools.properties) ?
