RE: [gmf-dev] missing class:org/eclipse/gmf/runtime/common/ui/services/action/internal/contributionitem/ProviderContributionDescriptor$AbstractPartContributionItemDescriptor

Hi Anthony,

At first I didn’t see this class, but missed the ‘internal’ package.  It’s in the compiler output directory, just not in the jar.  So yes, it seems to be the infamous windows path limitation.  I’ll move the build directory closer to the root of the drive, or switch to Linux once and for all.

Thanks,

Rich

Hi Richard, yes I looked at these failures yesterday as my team "owns" the class.
Nothing would have appears to have been changed, the JUnit tests in question ran successfully with the N20060129 build and I can run them successfully in my Linux development environment.
And the class AbstractPartContributionItemDescriptor is an internal class that does exist.

We will have to download the built bits and test.

Not sure if anyone encountered issues with internal classes before. I don't think this is a windows path limitation is it?

Anything change
Cheers...
Anthony

RE: [gmf-dev] Added org.eclipse.gmf.tests.runtime.common.ui.services

Sure, I’ll do it now.

Our dependencies are ready for today’s I-build.  I’m installing now for a compilation check, then will run… likely at 2:00 pm EST, unless I hear any objections.  Just 2 unit test failures on the last continuous build, both about the same missing class: org/eclipse/gmf/runtime/common/ui/services/action/internal/contributionitem/ProviderContributionDescriptor$AbstractPartContributionItemDescriptor

Thanks,
Rich

Hi

I have committed the new test plug-in org.eclipse.gmf.tests.runtime.common.ui.services , can you add it to the build?

Cheers...
