RE: [gmf-dev] new Integration build
|
Hi Richard,
I was planning to send you an email
on that. We did not add since the map files were using a specific version
tag ( iam assuming the build system tags the plugins with the latest version
#). Can you please add the emf.clipboard.core test to the build. Thanks
for pointing it out.
Cheers

Thanks Anthony.
I’ll update the feature.xml
to include this plug-in. In case not everyone realizes it, when adding
a test plug-in, the required tasks are outlined here: http://www.eclipse.org/gmf/development/development_guidelines.html#Testing
Of course, this not being a JUnit plug-in means it only needs to
go in the feature.xml and have a map file entry.
I notice another plug-in was
added, but is commented out: o.e.g.tests.runtime.emf.clipboard.core. The
tests seem to run OK, but is not included in the build… Can I add
it, Vishy?
Best,
Rich

Hi Richard,
We just added org.eclipse.gmf.tests.runtime.common.ui.services.provider
which is a plug-in used by org.eclipse.gmf.tests.runtime.common.ui to test
delayed plug-in loading when loading service providers (Bug 112797) and
handling provider exceptions (114759).
I updated the tests map file, let me know if it is OK.
Note that org.eclipse.gmf.tests.runtime.common.ui.services.provider is
not a JUnit tests plugin, as indicated by a comment in it's AllTests:
public class AllTests {
/**
* The org.eclipse.gmf.tests.runtime.common.ui.services.provider
tests
* plug-in is not
a JUnit test plug-in. This plug-in is used by
* org.eclipse.gmf.tests.runtime.common.ui
for ProviderPolicyExceptionsTest
* and ProviderPolicyTest.
*/
}
Cheers...
Anthony

Hi All,
I have rebuilt and posted the latest integration build with process affinity
set to just one of the machine’s CPUs to test a theory regarding our test
hangs. It seems to have worked, as all tests passed with no hangups
J.
Also, I wanted to test our build procedure for repeated builds using
tag I20051106-0900.
