It looks like the version number for the EE4J branch should be 2.5.0-SNAPSHOT. Should the master branch then be changed as well to 2.6.0-SNAPSHOT?

Particularly about HK2, we were wondering what the version should be. Currently it's 2.5.0.b63, but I thought Eclipse doesn't use the b-qualifier thing.

Eclipse processes release reviews in batches 2 times per month. The closest release review date is Nov 21. Can you please submit OpenMQ (https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/openmq/issues/427) release reviews before that date. The best is today/tomorrow.
