Anthony,
I am currently on Hadoop 2.2, accumulo 1.5.1 and GeoServer/GeoTools 2.4.4/1.5.1. I compiled and deployed the latest GeoMesa code expecting the performance
issue from my previous deployment to be mitigated, this was GEOMESA-62.
After deployment, I ran into some issues with missing classes/methods mostly due to the additional jars I had on the class path. Once I cleared up those issues,
I was able to request my sample cell tower data again with no errors in my cloud manager or GeoServer logs. However, my initial screen (which included the entire world bounding box) came back slower than the previous deployment. Zooming /panning was still
slow so I started to investigate where the performance hit may be coming from.
This is when I went back to the pom and found the GeoTools version numbers were 11.x.
I don’t have a hard requirement for GeoServer 2.4.x at this time, so I will be upgrading to 2.5.x today and checking my sample data again.
Do I need to reingest my data to account for any index/schema changes?
Thanks,

Chris, is the geoserver version an issue for you? We've taken steps to support multiple versions of Accumulo and Hadoop but are fixed with respect to Geotools/Geoserver.
