Re: [geomesa-users] Trying to run Quickstart
|
Chris,
Funny you should ask this question. I forgot to mention that I have done multiple runs of the Quickstart program. I ran a scan on my table and noticed that sometimes the table contained the expected sample data with the Who, What, Where, and When, and Why fields filled in. Sometimes the date would appear in clear text, and other times it appeared to hashed (or possibly non-existent). The test query and CQL queries from GeoServer failed in both cases.
I just set up a newer single node Accumulo/Hadoop instance and I am about to rerun Quickstart against that.
Thanks for your help,
John

John,
If you invoke a scan from the Accumulo shell, what kind of data does it show? I'm just trying to establish whether real data rows made it in, and not simply the metadata entries.
Thanks!
