Both queries on this graph are for the same predicate. The left side uses the 'jsonPath' function, while the right side uses the '$.' attribute notation. Both are equivalent to: "$.json.hexid" = 'E8020D'
Dig into it and determine what makes the function slower, and see if we can accelerate it.
