[faces-dev] faces-api issue #1471

Hi,

I've started work to resolve: https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/faces-api/issues/1471 for Faces 4.0 (Jakarta EE10).

To make the changes to the API codebase I'm using the following issue: https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/mojarra/issues/4389 which I've linked the following PR: https://github.com/eclipse-ee4j/mojarra/pull/4976

I've tagged both issues for Faces 4.0 using the "40" label in Github.

I'd like to add a "Changes between 3.0 and 4.0" section to the Faces Specification document using Issue #1471 however I can't seem to get the "faces-api" repo to build properly see my mail here: https://www.eclipse.org/lists/faces-dev/msg00204.html

Any feedback on these issues / a review of the PR would be great!
