404 error.

Hi Ferdie,

What happens when you visit https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/escet/escet/-/merge_requests/new (and you're logged in)? Does the page show, or give a 404? Or is it simply not useful, as you can't make a merge request?

Hi Dennis,

The link you refer to is located in the text. The link I refer to is blue-colored "submit a new merge request" in the header (see my image in the previous mail). That link has the additional "/new".

Hi Dennis,

Stupid error on my part, I did not enter an issue name. Because the contribution guideline text was located next to the submit button I thought they were related.

King regards,

Hi Ferdie,

Looking at https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/escet/escet/-/issues?scope=all&utf8=%E2%9C%93&state=all&author_username=freijnen it seems you created 8 issues already, including e.g. issue #62 (https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/escet/escet/-/issues/62)? How did you create these issues before?

Also, the link to "create a merge request." is broken.

I tried searching the documentation sources for a link with that title but didn't find any. I also didn't find one on the ESCET website. I also searched the sources for the URL but 'merge_requests/new' did not produce any hits. Where is this link that you refer to?

Hi all,

I am not able to submit issues on the ESCET GitLab page. The submit button is "grayed-out" (see img below.) On the contribution guidelines pages it says: "After you've reviewed these contribution guidelines, you'll be all set to submit an issue or create a merge request." However, I have no idea how to review them?

Also, the link to "create a merge request." is broken. It links to: https://gitlab.eclipse.org/eclipse/escet/escet/-/merge_requests/new, but "/eclipse/" should be "/<username>/".

Kind regards,
Ferdie
