[equinox-dev] Migration of git repositories to github

Hey everyone,

We are about to migrate the repositories (3 active ones only! - framework, bundles, p2) from https://git.eclipse.org/c/equinox/ to https://github.com/eclipse-equinox next Monday.

It will be handled in two steps:

* framework and bundles

* p2

Reason for that is that the open equinox gerrits (https://git.eclipse.org/r/q/projects:equinox+status:open) are mostly against p2 so some time is needed to clean it up.

Actual steps to be done are described at https://github.com/eclipse-platform/eclipse.platform.releng.aggregator/issues/24 .

Please resist opening new gerrits till that is completed and get your existing ones in by Sunday to make it easier on people handling the conversion.
