Hello folks,

I will be handling the EPP build tomorrow.
Things look promising in that we have a green dot build at the moment.

As a reminder, I will be following (and
updating) the steps on https://hackmd.io/@jonahgraham/eclipse-epp-release-process (the
first step is the green dot mentioned above). I am operating on Ottawa
time and I will be automating some of the steps as I go. The goal is to
get the build out sometime Thursday - but I am allowing myself some flexibility
on how late Thursday that will be. My secondary goal is to get enough of
this automated so that it can be done reliably early on a Thursday once
Fred's staging repo ready email is sent.

Thanks in advance to all the package
maintainers for testing their packages in a timely manner.

And finally thank you to Renesas for
supporting my time on handling the EPP releases. They are making it possible
for me to dedicate enough time to this project to ensure these releases
happen in the short term and become automated and managed with a rota in
the long term. I intend to handle all the 2020-03 and 2020-06 EPP releases.

The early milestones will make great
opportunities for other people to join the rota and handle a release when
there is less pressure, so please let me know if you are available for
a few hours of work on Thursday April 16th (for M1) or Thursday May 7th
(for M2) to run through the checklists and help me make sure that they
are complete.
