Hi,

I downloaded an Eclipse for JEE Luna M2 today, and was surprised to see that the average Java EE developer gets his UI with many references to PDE (import/new/run configurations/perspectives...), whereas it's most likely something s/he would never use.
I also say that bug https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=330867 which states that PDE makes sense in JEE package. For now, I strongly disagree with that. I tend to think that people who require PDE in the JEE package are already advanced Eclipse users/developers and that they are not the one who needs the more attention when doing packages.

Would there be any objection about removing PDE from the JEE package?
