Re: [epp-dev] New package for Linux developers

Sounds interesting. How about creating an epp bug and discuss the content, branding, etc. there? Would it be a package of its own or would it make sense to include some (all?) of the planned Linux features in the already existing C/C++ package?

Am I right that this would be a "Linux-only" package, i.e. it is not available for every platform? That would be a new use case for EPP, but it would be certainly doable.

(What about the tools from the parallel tools project - it is included in this year's release train... maybe someone from PTP is reading this and feels the need for having PTP included in one of the existing packages?)

Regards, Markus

+1, that would be a great addition to the existing distros!

Hi,

How do I go about creating a new EPP package for Linux C/C++ developers?
I would like to include the CDT + the Linux Tools features.

Thanks,

Andrew
