Re: [epf-dev] Term Definition

Michael, trying to answer your question and address your comment:

>>> Is there a way we can import a list in xml file of glossary terms straight into the term definition guidance?
There is no import of single element types in EPFC. If you have a separate plugin with only term definition elements in it, then you could use export/import functions.

>>> When I look in the resource navigator for this guidance, it is showing up as a plug-in not a xml.file in the guidance.
If I understand you comment, what you should see the following files in the resource navigator:

- the plugin.xmi file, which contains the name, presentation name, and GUID of each term definition element created in that plug-in
- an XMI (not XML) file for each term definition element (only if you added any text to the Main Description section of the term definition element, or else EPFC does not create this xmi file)

I hope this helps.

Ricardo Balduino.

All,

Is there a way we can import a list in xml file of glossary terms straight into the term definition guidance? When I look in the resource navigator for this guidance, it is showing up as a plug-in not a xml.file in the guidance.

Any help appreciated!
