Re: [emft-dev] Status of Emfatic

Wayne,

It's dead.  There are quite a few more dead EMFT projects.  They all need to be cleaned up, but there's quite a bit of process around that. (Xcore will replace it.  The Epsilon folks have a replacement as well.)

More pressing problems are things like QVTo on which GMF Tooling depends, but all the committers seem to have gone AWOL.  Also concerning is that all Ecore Tools committers, other than me, seem to have gone AWOL as well.  I've called a vote there and warned them that I'll decommitterize anyone who doesn't vote.  I assume I have the authority and the EMO's backing to do that?

Cheers,
Ed

AFAICT, Emfatic has been around for four years.

There are no downloads and there hasn't been a single review of any kind. No project metadata has been specified, so determining whether or not there has been any commit activity is difficult (not impossible, I just like looking at the graphs).

What is the status of the project?

Wayne
