[emft-dev] Support for multiple/separate ecore models?

I have downloaded the statemachine_models.zip example from:

I have then added a new plugin with a new model mymodel.ecore with a
few types.  I have added this model to the statemachine_model.ecore
(right-click and select "Load Resource") but I cannot add any of the
types from mymodel.ecore to the statemachine_model.ecore through the
COPE Operation Browser (eg. add Create Reference). It looks like the
operation browser cannot see the new model/package.

Does cope not supported creating/executing operations from external
.ecore files/models?
