Hi everyone, as some of you may or may not know, there is a memory leak issue with the 'History' view when you use EGit.

There are two workarounds for this problem described on this bug. I would like some input from the EGit community as to how we want to move forward with this problem.

I would try what you suggested in https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=354658#c16

until Team has fixed the issue and Juno has bee delivered (otherwise most users won't see

any benefit as they probably prefer to use a release Eclipse version). 

Such leak really hurts on larger repositories.
