RE: [egit-dev] Where does the bug number go in the commit message?

Hi Remy,

the convention is that there is a line Bug: xxxxxx above the Change-Id or the Signed-off-by line. But I do not know if that is written down somewhere.

For example:

Bug: 301775

Change-Id: I7ea462fe3516e5060b87aa1f7ed63689936830c2

Signed-off-by: Robin Rosenberg robin.rosenberg@xxxxxxxxxx

Best Regards,

Stefan

Subject: [egit-dev] Where does the bug number go in the commit message?

So I know you're supposed to use Gerrit's commit hook to add a Change-Id entry at the end of the commit message, but where should Bugzilla's bug number go? Is there a preferred format I should be following? Thanks.

Regards,
Remy
