The work is awesome.  Just FYI that the mission statement of the repository overlaps with this previously created repo, which is basically to help us automate dealing with all our specs and spec projects.


Perhaps we can consolidate?

This script was used to easily create all of the "Deliver xyz Specification Version" Issues for the Jakarta EE 9 release. The original version was obtained from @m0mus and I think he got the idea from @dblevins. So, thanks to both of them for the idea.

I modified the script slightly to make it more flexible and more "personal" for each repository. I thought be putting the scripts here in this jakartaee-release repo then they could more easily be shared for future Jakarta EE releases.
