FYI, at our PMC call yesterday, it was suggested that the Eclipse bug tracker should have a "PMC Approval" button like the Project creation and Voting mechanisms. Ivar was going to bring this up to Wayne to see if that could be accomplished. But, that's down the road. In the mean time, sending this note is good to ensure that the direction of the name is consistent with the overall Platform. Thanks!

Hi,
I'd like to move forward with renaming of "jacc" to "Jakarta Authorization", of which one component would be renaming the GitHub project to "authorization".
I've created the following issue and bug for this:
