Hi,

Most projects have added an (automatic) module name in the last months. Now my question is: are we allowed to *add* stable module names for artifacts that previously didn't have it, for the first release (EE4J_8) branch?

I'm unsure this can be considered an API change. Getting stable module names for all artifacts is the very first step towards Java Modules support and would be great to have it ASAP.

What does the PMC think about this?
