Re: [ee4j-build] Wrong release in staging

Hi,
How can that happen? 😮
If you stage to Sonatype isn’t that a “safe” operation, meaning nothing
real except for the staging happens?
depends on what one tells the job to do... in case of jpa-api, the "bug"
has been already identified and fixed[1]
I staged all my jobs under that assumption.
as long as you double checked particular release jobs before running
them, know what they are supposed to do and have good understanding of
what, when and why they do what is written in them, you should be safe...
thanks,

I think it is even worse. This artifact has already hit Maven Central:

Hello,
Today I've released a version of JPA using job
https://jenkins.eclipse.org/jpa/job/jpa-api-release-finalize
<https://jenkins.eclipse.org/jpa/job/jpa-api-release-finalize>
to
https://oss.sonatype.org/content/groups/staging/jakarta/persistence/jakarta.persistence-api/2.2.1/
<https://oss.sonatype.org/content/groups/staging/jakarta/persistence/jakarta.persistence-api/2.2.1/>
However later on it appeared that this release is not complete
and I
would like to drop it and re-release the same (but corrected)
version again.
Is it possible to do so?
Thanks and regards,
Maxim
