[eclipselink-dev] reminder RE: JPA 2.2 doc review

Hi folks,

I just want to remind you what I said in Thursday's meeting, that is, that you can now simply go to the JPA doc TOC (http://wiki.eclipse.org/EclipseLink/UserGuide/JPA) to see which topics are new or significantly revised and are ready for review. All of the new 2.2 JPA topics are now ready.

FYI, James sent me a general comment that there is some inconsistency in how all the annotation/element topics are structured and formatted. I will make a pass through all those topics to make sure they are consistent, but I don't want to hold up this review for that pass. Please review for accuracy, completeness, and usefulness. I would especially appreciate code samples, where appropriate.

Please try to complete the review by next Friday, February 11. I will continue to work on the pre-2.2 JPA topics that are missing.

Thank you,

-Ben

The following are ready for review:
The doc for other two new 2.2 features, "Appending Strings to CREATE TABLE Statements" and "Additional Criteria," will be ready soon...

The Discussion page for each topic (or at least most of them) includes questions about that topic's doc.

Please post your comments in the Discussion pages, or you can e-mail me at ben.gelernter@xxxxxxxxxx. If you e-mail me, it is likely I'll paste your comments into the Comments page, anyway, to keep a record.

Thanks,

-Ben

Those of you at Thursday's meeting heard me say I would have the doc for the new (2.2) JPA features ready for review today. I ran into some glitches and didn't quite make it. I'll have it ready Monday, I'm sure.
