If you name the element "value" instead of "mode" then it will be simpler for users to specify (which may not necessarily be a good thing in this case!)

What happens if a different indirection collection type is used and the validation mode is CORRECTION? A descriptor validation exception or a runtime exception?

I've added a new paragraph http://wiki.eclipse.org/EclipseLink/Development/JPA_2.0/ordered_lists#Non_Contiguous_Index_values_-_a_new_approach to Ordered Lists doc.

It suggests the way to handle "broken" order of the list in the data base, define a new Eclipselink annotation (and a enum it uses) that I am planning to introduce.
