Re: [eclipse.org-planning-council] stepping down as Planning Council Chair

Jonah,

I know that I speak for everyone here in saying: THANK YOU!

Your contributions here have been amazing and we all appreciate everything you have done. We're very happy that you are going to stay involved, but completely understand your desire to pass the baton to a new leader.

All the best!

Hi folks,

As discussed in recent meetings I have been looking to step down as planning council chair. Today I tender my resignation for this position.

I really have really appreciated the time I have been involved in this position and I am grateful you all put your trust in me in the last few years as the Eclipse IDE WG grew in scale. The current state of the IDE WG gives me good hope for the future of the Eclipse IDE, although I don't underestimate the challenges going forward.

I will remain on the planning council as the representative of the Eclipse Tools PMC and I look forward to working with whoever we elect as the new planning council chair.

Thanks
Jonah
