are pleased to announce the next semi-annual Eclipse Members’ Meeting and
Marketing Symposium will be held October 27-28, in Reston, Virginia. This
year we are co-locating the meeting with the Eclipse
World conference. To attend, please send an e-mail RSVP to members.meeting@xxxxxxxxxxx (more
details and hotel information at the end of the e-mail). The
next general meeting of the Eclipse Membership will be held Monday, October 27
from 1pm-5:30pm. The meeting is your opportunity to better understand
what is happening in the Eclipse community and what to expect as we go into

Networking Reception The
Eclipse Marketing Symposium will be held October 28 from 8:30-noon. The
marketing symposium is for marketing and business development professionals who
want to learn more about marketing technical and developer oriented products.
The symposium will feature speakers from DZone/Javalobby, BZ Media,
Actuate and others. A more detailed agenda can be found online. There
will also be a New Member Jumpstart meeting on October 27 from
10:00am-noon. This meeting is ideally suited for people new to the
Eclipse Ecosystem either technical or business/marketing. It will
introduce the role of the Eclipse Foundation, the governance structure and
provide insight into the organization of the different projects. Your
feedback and participation in these events is always appreciated. Project leads
who would like to provide a Project Update during the meeting should contact me
ASAP. New members wishing to do a short introduction of themselves should
also contact me ASAP. Please feel free to contact me if you have any
other questions or comments. I look forward to seeing everyone at
