Our May 2024 Committer Office Hours are scheduled for this Thursday.
These office hours sessions provide an opportunity for you to bring your questions forward to help you better navigate the responsibilities that come with committer status.
Our theme for this month's meeting will be committer elections, or more generally, the vendor neutral open source process by which contributors become committers, and your responsibilities in that process.
Our practice with regard to selecting topics for office hours presentations is to pull them from the questions that we see on the incubation mailing list, that are sent directly to the EMO or Help Desk, along with activity that we see on various communication channels (e.g., PMC mailing lists). If you have questions, it's probably that others have similar questions: so ask.
Note that the "dev" mailing lists are used to notify committers of ongoing elections and are the primary means by which the EMO connects with project teams. Whether you use these resources for project communication or not, please ensure that you and all of your committer colleagues are subscribed to their projects' corresponding dev lists. We also recommend that all project leads subscribe to their corresponding PMC's mailing list. Visit
accounts.eclipse.org to configure mailing list subscriptions.
