Re: [eclipse-pmc] 4.23 RC2a request for MAT / bug 579119
Sorry not to mention it here, the main issue is not that it affects MAT, it affects every product that opens files of size > 8 MB.
MAT is just the only "known" product that exposes this bug today, but I assume there will be others.

The change looks good to me but there is concern from releng side that RC2 EPP packages are not published so changes may not get enough exposure. I would like to hear from at least one more PMC member before give this one a go.

Do we have a patch ready? I would like to know the scope of the change before considering it.
