Hi Brigham,

Yes, the Eclipse CDT plug-ins are shipped for ppc64le. Please simply install them, either directly from CDT or from the SimRel p2 site https://download.eclipse.org/releases/latest

That said, I don't know of anyone who has used them on ppc64le for a while and haven't seen a bug report about it either. If you find issues, please submit them to the CDT issue tracker and if possible provide pull requests to resolve the issue.

SWT already have this:

If you want to build "the platform" from source you best use the instructions here:

this will build everything from java source (it takes quite long ~ 30 minutes) and after that in the folder

eclipse.platform.releng.aggregator/eclipse.platform.releng.tychoeclipsebuilder/eclipse.platform.repository/target/products/

org.eclipse.platform.ide-linux.gtk.ppc64le.tar.gz
org.eclipse.sdk.ide-linux.gtk.ppc64le.tar.gz

as a result, maybe this already helps, but be aware that this is a bit different from what you find on the download pages, so you probably need to install your favorite plugins.

I am attempting a ppc64le linux build; hence I am trying to build from source. Unless there is some prebuilt ppc64le linux build of the eclipse IDE; that would be wonderful.
