Hi Erik,

Thank you for your questions. The Eclipse Foundation is committed to improving the donation experience for our community and users. We will be presenting a plan to the IDE working group's Steering Committee in July. Note that one recent improvement to the sponsorship page was to add support for Euros as currency, previously it was only USD. We have other improvements in mind, stay tuned.

Sharon's comment says that the "Eclipse Foundation is pursuing other options". What does that mean? Are improvements like support for SEPA for sponsoring still planned?
