- Tod attended EclipseWorld 2006 and gave two talks on RCP using the UI

Platform UI:
- 3.2.1 bug fixing
- 3.3 work
- wizards:
  - bug fixes
- NL:
  - wrote code to adopt ICU's Collator in the workbench (see bug 154884):
    - patch to be reviewed before releasing
- test Suites:
  - test suites on Linux in 3.2.1 stream - bug 141654
- commands:
  - worked on menu proposals for:
    - https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=154130
- JFace:
  - continued work on OwnerDraw Support
- working sets
- workbench minimize support and rectangle animation
- resource dialog:
  - moved to Open Type style dialog

Workspace Team:
- full content Apply Patch
- file buffer support for Compare editors
- minor improvements to API for logical model integration
- bug triage

Platform/JDT Text:
- added a warning dialog when editing a derived file
- improved class file editor regarding changing of Eclipse runtime version
- improved class file editor when there's no source:
  - show disassembled code
  - can now display large class files
- fixed bugs related to High Contras mode
- continued hyperlink detector discussions
- inbox tracking
- vacations

JDT UI:
- fixed versioning problems in 3.2.1 and updated plug-in versions in 3.3
- extended Clean Up (bug 154109):
  - added Clean Up preference page
  - added Clean Up profiles
- reimplemented JUnit test search engine
- made JUnit launch configuration tab and launch shortcut API
- worked on lightweight rename
- vacation

Debug:
- bug fixing
- investigating migration of debug views to use JFace lazy tree
  content provider & SWT.Virtual style:
  - started work on prototype of debug view to better understand issues
- enhanced test suite to re-run tests that fail due VM disconnection on
  windows (see bug 148255)
- vacation

PDE:
- cheat sheet editor work continues (basic functionality in place)
- work started on a command composer (a simple UI allowing users to build
  a command string that can be used in Welcome, Help, cheat sheets etc.)
- polishing new launcher APIs as requested by the TPTP project
- bug fixes

User Assistance:
- looking into keyword index for Eclipse SDK docs
- work continues on remote help (this week's focus is dynamic content and NL)
- bug fixes

SWT:
- finished 3.2.1 test pass
- will be submitting eclipse.org article with a couple of days on custom
  drawing of table and tree items
- fixing 3.3 bugs
- Vista investigation has begun
- will begin win64 work soon, will likely defer Mozilla everywhere
  investigation until bulk of win64 is done

Runtime:
- bug fixing
- finalizing 3.2.1
- 3.3 team planning
- most people are back from vacation
