Platform UI:


- Trim:

 - Working on the new 'Multi fast bar' handling

 - Design discussions regarding the commands/trim infrastructure Commands

 - Worked on handler bug fixes

 - Investigate action set replacement using command framework

- Still dialogs (resources & types)

- Reviving and generalizing undo code for marker create/delete/update

 - Undo of marker operations first step for testing out resource-based undo strategy

 - Surfacing lots of duplicate code/cleanup issues


JDT APT:


- Down to zero open bugs for APT.
- Waiting for JSR-269 API and ref implementation to finalize.
- Working with Sun to ensure JSR-269 interfaces will be available on 1.5 VMs and redistributable in Eclipse.


JDT Core:


- Vacations (5/7 committers)
- 3.3
- Preparing 3.3 M1
- Preparing performance tests against 3.2
- 3.2.1 maintenance:
- 52 bugs currently fixed
- Bugs fixing starts to freeze on this stream
- Bug triage


Platform/JDT Text:

- Added Filtered tree viewer to the Extensions Page for fast searching of extensions

- Content assist improvements including showing javadoc for manifest headers

- Performance improvements:

       - Significant memory improvements when reconciling the plugin.xml model as you type

       - Less memory footprint for extension point schemas

       - Deferred loading of element/attribute descriptions


User Assistance:


- Work continues on remote help

- 3.2.1 bug fixing
