[eclipse-dev] Problem installing VE
|
I did not see the java->awt or java-Swing in the
wizard window.
All I've under java are: class, interface, java
project, package, source folder, java run/debug and
JUnit.
According to the eclipse web sit, I should have the
following in the About-Eclipse-Platform-Features
window:
Provider Feature id
Eclipse.org org.eclipse.jem
Eclipse.org org.eclipse.jem.source (SDK only)
Eclipse.org org.eclipse.ve
Eclipse.org org.eclipse.ve.source (SDK only)
Eclipse.org org.eclipse.ve.sdk (SDK only)
However, I did not them in it after I installed them.

Start Eclipse and press Ctrl+N.
In the New dialog you should see a selection for a
Visual Class or if you look under Java->AWT or
Java->Swing you will see a number of GUI component
choices.
Use the class wizard to complete the configuration of
a GUI component. When you click Finish the Visual
editor
will open.
