Well, this is a mystery.    It
doesn't appear that the cvsup process failed during the nightly build process.
 However, I can't see the state of the file system at the time of
the build because it occurred after the backups.  We run cvsup on
an hourly basis so the SNZ repositories on dev.eclipse.org have been updated
since the nightly build.  Perhaps there was a network issue at the
time of the build that caused the cvsup process to timeout.  As you
noted, the problem is now resolved.

Looking at eclipse-junit-tests-N20040129.zip (in
eclipse-Automated-Tests-N20040129.zip), it appears that several files are
missing (e.g. '.
\eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.jdt.core.tests.model_3.0.0\workspace\Converter\src\test0001\Test.java'

is missing) but they are in HEAD on dev.eclipse.org.

So something bad happened during the build process. Can someone from releng
please comment?

I cannot reproduce jdt.core failures on my workstation.
A part of our 'Converter' source folder seemed not to have been copied
during the tests run. We're currently investigating to figure out what
happened...
