I have Debian packages partly created (have build scripts in plsace that
do the build from source including natives and such and place them in
sensible directories with a launcher). I'd be happy to work with you on
them if you'd like, I can place them in a CVS repository on my machine
and give you access.
Currently I'm looking to work with RH folk to standardize how the shared
Unix installs work so they'll be roughly compatible between distros.
