RE: [eclipse-dev] J2EE Plug-in & EJB Editor for Eclipse

Hi Naci,

sounds very good. We (three developers) are discussing to write something
similar, but smaller, on the tools newsgroup (subject: EJB Builder in
eclipse). It would be interesting to know who are you, as a group, and when
do you think you'll release something to the "public". I would be keen to
have a look at it as soon as possible.

Subject: [eclipse-dev] J2EE Plug-in & EJB Editor for Eclipse

We are currently working on a J2EE plug-in, which includes a JSP, Servlet,
EJB, Web Services wizards and views, somewhat similar to WSAD, primary
difference being the independence from a particular application server
(pluggable test environment) and free.

It is not in a form that is available to general public but we will release
it as soon as we feel it is ready robust enough to endure the use (abuse and
criticisims :-) of a wider developer group.

Hi,

are there any plans/thoughts on implementing an EJB editor for the
eclipse
platform?

I am wondering if this is something essential to the business interests
of
IBM and will therefore be better provided by another party, most likely
an/some independent developer(s)?
