thanks for the nomination, Tim! As I mentioned in the steering committee meeting, I’d prefer to step down from this role in case someone from another member company is willing to take that over. I think some rotation in the representative
role of the steering committee would be beneficial for the group. So I’ll happily leave it to Hans-Ake, especially because we already had a vote between us two last year.

Jonas Helming (EclipseSource) - marketing committee
Miro Spönemann (TypeFox) - steering committee
FWIW, both have confirmed they accept the nomination, and we're trying to reach out to as many of the member companies as possible to encourage more.

The Eclipse Cloud Dev Tools Working Group
Charter
identifies the various committees that drive the facets of the working group for which there are elected positions to be filled.
Eclipse Cloud Dev Tools identifies two committees - Steering Committee and Marketing/ Brand Committees for which the elected positions for the Participant Member
Representative seat must be filled. Please note that Strategic Members each have a representative appointed to the Committees.
Through this email, we are happy to announce the Eclipse Foundation will hold an election on behalf of the working group using the proposed timetable listed below.
All members are encouraged to consider nominating someone from a Participant Member (Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), ARM Limited, EclipseSource, Renesas Electronics
Corporation, STMicroelectronics International N.V., TypeFox GmbH). Self-nominations are more than welcome!.
October 4-14: Call for Nominations
October 18: Announce Candidates Standing
October 19-28: Ballots Created/Sent (Voting Period)
November 1: Announce Elected Candidates
Nominations
must be sent to this mailing list.
When the nomination period is closed, we will inform the working group of the confirmed candidates providing a short bio for each along with their position statement. At that point, we will distribute ballots via email to those eligible to vote. The election
process will follow the Eclipse “Single Transferable Vote” method, as defined in the
Eclipse Bylaws. The winning candidates will be announced on this mailing list following
the close of the election. Self nominations are more than welcome.
