Hi,
I would like to nominate Hans-Ake Gustafsson for the participant rep seat in the steering committee.
Hans-Ake has 35 years of professional work life experience as embedded software, PC-application and software tools developer and project manager, covering automotive, aerospace and general purpose applications. He participated in software standardisation efforts, the development of domain specific modelling and the development of tools in close cooperation with semiconductor vendors.
Hans-Ake has a focus on developing embedded software development tools, he worked a lot with strategic open source investments and coordinated with partner vendors in the embedded area. Furthermore, he has been involved in the Eclipse ecosystem for a long time.
Currently, he is the project manager of a software tools project within the microcontroller division of ST.

The Eclipse Cloud Dev Tools Working Group Charter identifies the various committees that drive the facets of the working group for which there are elected positions to be filled.
Eclipse Cloud Dev Tools identifies two committees - Steering Committee and Marketing/ Brand Committees for which the elected positions for the Participant Member Representative seat must be filled. Please note that Strategic Members each have a representative appointed to the Committees.
Through this email, we are happy to announce the Eclipse Foundation will hold an election on behalf of the working group using the proposed timetable listed below.
All members are encouraged to consider nominating someone from a Participant Member (Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), ARM Limited, EclipseSource, Renesas Electronics Corporation, STMicroelectronics International N.V., TypeFox GmbH). Self-nominations are more than welcome!.
Elections Schedule:
October 4-14: Call for Nominations
October 18: Announce Candidates Standing
October 19-28: Ballots Created/Sent (Voting Period)
November 1: Announce Elected Candidates
Nominations must be sent to this mailing list. When the nomination period is closed, we will inform the working group of the confirmed candidates providing a short bio for each along with their position statement. At that point, we will distribute ballots via email to those eligible to vote. The election process will follow the Eclipse “Single Transferable Vote” method, as defined in the Eclipse Bylaws. The winning candidates will be announced on this mailing list following the close of the election. Self nominations are more than welcome.
