Che4z is a Che subproject so I suppose I am the PMC member for it. I am also adding Venkat to the thread. 

Che4z is just trying to ramp up and during the project proposal phase unfortunately we did not foresee the significance of initial committers and it was not possible for us to guide the Broadcom teams properly without knowing their structure. Now the team from Broadcom is trying to do the right thing and moving all the development to foundation but that requires more access. 

IMHO we can treat these requests as initial committers for a project that is provisioned really recently
