RE: [dtp-dev] Automatic refresh of the tree in DSE
|
Hi Max,
In this case could I invoke the refresh as it is
invoking from the context menu of DSE. Could you redirect me to the place when I
can see how this is doable.
Thank you and Best Regards,
Dimiter
Hi Dimiter, The automatic refresh feature
is doable in theory but it's not implemented yet. I'm afraid it involves too
much. E.g. if the statements being executed contains some runtime evaluation,
the parser alone won't be enough to tell whether a refresh is necessary.
Best Regards!

Subject
| [dtp-dev] Automatic
refresh of the tree in DSE |
|
Hi,
When I execute some create/delete
statement from
org.eclipse.datatools.sqltools.sqlscrapbook.SQLScrapbookEdito., and
execution pass successful (triggering change in the DB contains), the tree
representation of the Data Source Explorer is not refreshed. The refresh should
be invoked manually. So my question is whether the automatic refresh is possible
and if it is, what action is required to be performed – invocation via API or
listener implementation or something else?
Thank you in advance,
Dimiter _______________________________________________
