+1 for Eclipse DSDP Project
In keeping with Dave’s beer theme, how about we rebrand as “Delicious
Suds Delivery Platform”

Hi Eric,
AFAIK the providerName must be "in sync" with the icon.
If we have ONE icon for all of DSDP, we also need ONE providerName. For
instance,
"Eclipse DSDP Project" or
"Eclipse.org - DSDP" or
"Eclipse.org - Device Software Development
Platform"
I'm not sure if discussion concluded on any recommended pattern for
the providerName.
Cheers,

Subject: [dsdp-pmc] plugin.properties providerName
Several
months ago, there was a discussion on cross-platform about putting
project-specific names in the plugin.properties and feature.properties providerName
fields. I created a bug for TmL to do this work.
It
doesn't appear that many projects are adopting this strategy. Are other DSDP
projects, especially those on the Galileo release train, planning to make these
changes? If so, what format are you planning to use?
