Martin,
I can help with this. I’ve done this several times already. Let’s
take this offline and get back to Mike and Bjorn when we’re ready for EMO
review.

Subject: DSDP Packaging Project to run for Proposal!
Thanks Mike!
In fact we just had a phone call, and we decided that we want to
shoot for a new project.
Bob Frankel is going to be the proposed project lead, and is going
to work on a draft project proposal immediately.
See tentative contents on http://wiki.eclipse.org/DSDP/Packaging
Now I haven't been through this personally before... can you help
us through the next steps?
- We are preparing a draft
project proposal on the Wiki, based on some templates we have found
- Who's the next person to review the draft proposal?
- When do we need to have the draft proposal ready such that we have
a chance to have a "real proposal" go live along with the
newsgroup before EclipseCon?
Thanks,

No. The newsgroup gets turned on as soon as the proposal goes
live. And the wiki is, well, a wiki J
The only infrastructure piece that takes a while is the mailing
list and, of course, CVS/Bugzilla.
Souds great, thanks mike.
Will the *proposal phase* and
thus the newsgroup also take 4-6 weeks to get?
