Be careful here... The device configurations are currently tied to the project and/or launch configuration. You are essentially talking about some kind of "global" selection which does not currently fit in with the way launching works. To be "correct" it would need to be selectable in other parts of the preferences. On Dec 5, 2008, at 12:21 PM, Ales Milan (Inlogic Software s.r.o.) wrote: I'm not sure if is possible to add Combobox to toolbar. (toolbar under menu) But I'm sure that we can add icon (similar Run, Debug.. icon). After click we can show list of all configurations and then user can choose new active configuration. Another solution is to create new View: Current Active Configuration. ? Where would this Combo box be located? I like the idea, I just want to be sure we have fully thought through the user interactions. But I still prefer faster way... If you don't have opened application descriptor, then steps are: - double click to open application descriptor - scroll to runtime part (if you don't have screen > 1600x1050 :) ) - select new active configuration - CTRL+S - run... As I wrote, to future I recommend quick Combobox.. May be I could implement this, reopen this bug 249838.... Ales. The user needs just to click on the checkbox to select the active configuration.
