Re: [deeplearning4j-dev] Eclipse integration

Hello,

Nothing there yet, we're still trying to figure out how to go through the legal process:
https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=16828

Thanks for checking up

Hi Samuel,

I would like to know where we could download the DL4J library, the eclipse one.

Usually there is a p2 repository at something under http://download.eclipse.org/deeplearning4j/, but currently your download page here is empty.

Take a look at the Trace Compass one for example http://download.eclipse.org/tracecompass/

Maybe we could help you achieve that part. This helps other eclipse projects integrate DL4J without going through extra hoops.

Jean-Christian

Deeplearning4j is a Maven project, which works for most cases. Could you elaborate on your needs? Are we talking about OSGi bundles or something else?

Thank you for the answers.

It would be great if we were able to integrate it into our project. For now, we copied the jar files in a lib folder and work with them. Let's wait for further work around the Eclipse migration.

Please do not hesitate to ping me if you need support for Trace Compass.

Integration in Eclipse doesn't necessarily mean integration with other projects, but maybe it should? Eclipse Trace Compass looks like something we might want to use as part of DataVec. What do you think Alex?

Actually, Samuel Audet is taking the lead on Eclipse migration.

We are still very early in the migration process, and these things take time.
I'll let Sam comment further if he has anything to add.

Hello Jean-Christian,

Thanks for reaching out.

I'm actually not sure of the answer, but I think Alex Black (cc'ed) should know. Alex is probably the most aware of our workings with the Eclipse Foundation.

Edward

Hello,

I'll leave Edward answer this. He's probably not on the mailing list yet, so make sure to have him in Cc! Thanks

Hi,

We have been trying to use DL4J for Eclipse Trace Compass and we just found that you have been approved as an Eclipse project.

It is maybe early but do you have any way to integrate DL4J into Eclipse (an update site for example)?

Jean-Christian
