Re: [dataspace-wg] Slides from EDWG All-Interested-Parties call
Dear Eclipse Dataspace Community,

short reminder that the first "deadline" is approaching. If your organisation intends to actively join the press release around instantiaring the Eclipse Dataspace Working Group it would be great if we can receive your signed WGPA by Wednesday, Sept 16th. 

If you are currently in the process of signing the WGPA, but will not be able to finalize by Wednesday, please drop me a short note. So at least we would have an idea how much signed WGPA we can expect in the next few days. We may have some flexibility and may not handle the above deadline in a hard way.

first of all, thanks for your interest in our interested parties call yesterday.

Please find attached the slides from the meeting. As mentioned please feel free to reach out in case of any questions. 

Below is the summary of the most important points for joining the upcoming Working Group

  • Interested parties need to sign the WGPA to formally join the upcoming Eclipse Dataspace Working Group

  • The draft charter can be found here

  • The initial Steering Committee meeting in which the Draft Charter will be ratified is planned around October 5th

  • We plan to publish a Press Release on the successful launch of the EDWG on October 16th during the EclipseCon 2023

  • We would ask each organisation, which wants to support/join this PR activity to provide the signed WGPA before September 13th, to allow for some time to align on the content of the PR and to run through the needed approval processes at your resp organisation

  • All other organisations which want to join the initial SC meeting are asked to provide their signed WGPA before September 27th
