Sorry John, I definitely didn't want to vex you. I just wrote about my personal experience I made a some time ago. So there is some history. But I agree, especially *you* and the platform team invested a lot into making contributions easier. I also understand that most of the time I was part of the crowd pushing you into this and I apologize for not attributing those efforts properly.

Personally most the time I used to spend directly fixing user reported problems, I now spend reviewing patches and trying to enable others to contribute fixes instead.
